Are you judgmental? Are you cynical?

Am I judgmental? Hmm, not really. As humans we do a lot of stupid things, but it’s just apart of just growing up & gaining experience. I think people tend to think that I would be judgmental because I’m extremely cautious & logical about the decisions I make, but just because I’m like that doesn’t mean I expect everyone else to be. Everyone is different and has their own personal reasons behind their actions, so who am I to judge? And anyway, I’m a rather good listener for those who need it, so I don’t allow judgments to get in the way of that.

Hah. Am I cynical… I’m really not. I use to be though. Very much so. But after reading a few books and changing my perspective on a lot of things, I’ve become a much better and happier person. I really hate cynicism and having that kind of thought logic was doing absolutely nothing for me. It didn’t make me feel better, smarter, edgy, or whatever I thought I was trying to be. But now that I’m over all of that I have a greater appreciation for things, especially people. Anyway, moral of the story: say no to cynicism folks! You’ll be a much happier person without it. Man, how I wish somebody would have told me this when I was a teenager, haha.

Give me one good reason why people should follow you

To be honest, I don’t really believe that there is a sole reason why people ‘should’ follow me. I’m sure the people that follow me do so for many different reasons, and whatever the reason is fine by me (tbh, I’m still perplexed that I even have followers, haha). But I guess if anything, people should follow me because they’re interested in the person I am. I think one of the problems with my tumblr is that I don’t have a set theme. I’m not a fashion blog, or humor blog, or an inspirational blog. But everything that I post is significant to me whether it be screen caps from a film or a picture of a plate of food. I love everything that I post and think I’m fairly blatant about my what my are interests are, so if you like what you see, then by all means follow me.

Do you speak Sindarin? How do you say I Love You in Sindarin?

o m g, at this question, LOL. This takes me back. But no, I don’t speak Sindarin though I wanted to learn it for a period of time back in my LOTR days, aha. I don’t know even know how to say a basic ‘I Love You’, but do you, anon? xD

what are some good books to read?

Hmm, good books… well ultimately it depends on the kind of books you like, but if you can get into weird/slightly fuck up stories then I recommend Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk, Miso Soup by Ryu Murakami [this could be considered mystery/suspense as well] or Coin Locker Babies by the same author. If you like stories that are more horror/suspense I recommened Intensity by Dean Koontz and Ring by Koji Suzuki.

If you like non-fiction I recommend I Love You Philip Morris by Steve McVicker, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim by David Sedaris (fucking hilarious),  Fever Pitch by Nick Hornby, Clough: The Autobiography by Brian Clough, and I HIGHLY The Wheel of Life: A Memoir of Living and Dying by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross (I can honestly say that it kind of changed my life).

For more drama/serious related novels I recommend, Giovanni’s Room by James Baldwin, The Reader by Bernhard Schlink (better then the film imo), Np by Banano Yoshimoto, Dream Boy by Jim Grimsley.

And because this is getting way too long, but I like recommending books here is just a miscellaneous list of other stuff I like (haha): The Places That Scare You by Pema Chodron, Animal Farm & 1984 George Orwell, The Death of Ivan Ilyich and Other Stories by Leo Tolstoy, The Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket, and The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde.

I know I have more I could recommend, but this list is insane already and I think this is enough to give you some variety. Enjoy anon! :)
