Day 30 - Your favorite movie of all time

Oh, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I had a quite strange and probably unhealthy obsession with this film for a long time after first seeing it in theaters. It’s almost weird to think that the only reason I went to see it in the first place was because of Elijah Wood (LOL wth), but the film itself ended up captivating me a lot more then I had expected.

Kind of sad since this is my last day of this movie meme and once again I’m feeling far too lazy/tired to do a proper write up. But I think if you like this film as well, then you can see why it would be a favourite of mine (or really in this case, my all time favourite). I don’t ever see another film replacing this one for my #1 spot. But then again, I should never say never, haha.

Day 29 - A movie from your childhood

Beauty and the Beast! I was obsessed with this movie as a kid. I would watch it every day after school until eventually learned all the lines & would act it out while I watched it, lol. I specifcially remember singing & dancing around my room with a Halloween basket filled with books during the opening song, haha. I even had a beauty & the beast themed birthday party once :3 Anyway, this film is a classic and definitely had a big impact on me during my younger years, haha.

Day 28 - Favorite movie from your favorite director

I have a few favourite directors and I don’t actually have a ‘all time favourite’, but I decided to pick Pedro Almodóvar for this because I hadn’t used any of his films for this meme so far. Anyway, I an extreme love for this man as a director and La Mala Educacion (Bad Education) is one of my all time favourite films. I think what impressed me so much about this film is that it was nothing like I had ever seen at the time (well, besides that his style is a little reminiscent of Hitchcock, imo). It was a film filled with twists, turns, and mystery at every corner, but presented in such a stylish format that I couldn’t help but be immediately drawn in from the start. Maybe it’s because this is the first film I saw by him, but out of all his films that I’ve seen this continues to rank as my #1.

Day 27 - A movie that you wish you had seen in theaters

KILL BILL! D:

Day 26 - A movie that you love but everyone else hates

To be honest, I don’t think I have one :\ I think the films I like are pretty well liked by others as well. If anything maybe Revolutionary Road since I see a lot of hate for that film, but I think it’s fucking flawless so whatever, haha.
